Fall Equinox on the Loyalsock (Creekquinox):
September 21
I'm running because I think governments need more ordinary folks. So this is a party like the kind you'd go to with your family, with your coworkers, or with friends.
Tickets are $35.
What comes with that is buffet style lunch
Local Chicken Legs, marinated & grilled
A variety of soups
Fresh-baked bread
Veggie Tray w/ Dip (vegan, GF)
Cookies (vegetarian)
Campfire snacks (marshmallows, vegetarian, GF; possibly hot dogs)
Nonalcoholic Beverages
Adult beverages available, not included
The venue is ON the creek, so you'll be able soak up the glorious aroma of the creek and the crisp fall air & vegetation--among the best things about a whole year.
There's lots of room for yard games, so we will set up some badminton, croquet, and cornhole, and you're welcome to bring your own. If it's warm enough or you like to swim in the cold, feel free to bring your suit and take a dip!
Please bring camp chairs and any other picnic accoutrements you like.
There will also be a camp fire.
The picnic will be in Montoursville, you'll receive the address once you purchase a ticket.
If you want to come and you cannot afford a ticket, please email talk@aprillistens.com. I understand, personally, how sometimes participation is out of reach for financial reasons. No questions asked, I'll simply put you on the list.
My mission is about building community and coalition that works for everyone.
If you happen to be fortunate enough to consider sponsoring someone else's attendance, use the additional contribution button to add an additional contribution that works in your budget.
We will make sure some vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available, but if your diet is sensitive or you have strong allergies, please let us know ahead of time by emailing talk@aprillistens.org.
There are about eighty sanitized words that fundraisers use to describe asking strangers for money. And the real annoying truth is that's a super important component of how grassroots campaigns like mine get going.
No donation is too small. For real. And donating through the button below or by mailing a check to

is the highest impact help you can give.
We're using Bonfire to offer fundraising shirts in way way more options than our campaign could ever possibly manage.
Pricing is $18 - $55 for anything from a youth t-shirt to a tank top to a tiedye to a hoodie. The campaign gets $2 - $12/item ordered. Inclusive sizing where available, up to 5x. Unfortunately not all products have inclusive sizing.
Wearing a t-shirt, especially if you're local is a great way to spread the word and support the campaign.

Elections, like so much about this world we live in, are a popularity contest. And we all know that popularity happens with the help of our friends.
So, do something purposeful with your doom scrolling and spread the word of April Listens.
